Illustration Friday: Tales and Legends

The legend of Mount Rushmore says that Gutzon Borglum worked by himself to carve the faces of four American presidents. Rushmore's creator, was indeed a noted sculptor, but he did not work alone: a large crew of artisans did the actual face carving, working from a model Borglum created.

Here's another tall tale. According to the Chuck Norris fact generator, they wanted to put Chuck Norris on Mt. Rushmore, but the granite wasn't tough enough for his beard. hee! hee!
